UNICEF tackles Kano Assembly over child’s rights act
The United Nations Youngsters Fund (UNICEF) on Wednesday decried the non-passage of the Youngster’s Rights Act by the Kano State Home of Assembly.
The state authorities despatched the invoice to the Home in 2020.
UNICEF’s Youngster Safety Supervisor, Kano Discipline Workplace, Mrs. Emelia Allan, who spoke at a two-day capacity-building workshop for journalists in Kano, urged the state authorities to make sure the passage of the invoice with the intention to strengthen little one’s rights and safety within the state.
