NEMA confirms death of 4 people in Lagos building collapse

The Nationwide Emergency Administration Company (NEMA) on Friday night time confirmed the death of 4 people in the three-storey building that collapsed in the Mushin space of Lagos.

The NEMA Zonal Coordinator in the South-West, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, who confirmed this to journalists, mentioned the victims had been two males and two ladies.

He added that was rescued alive from the rubble of the collapsed building.

The state governor had earlier ordered investigations into the trigger of the building collapse.

The state’s Commissioner for Bodily Planning and City Growth, Mr. Omotayo Bamgbose-Martins, acknowledged this on the scene of the accident.

The commissioner additionally ordered the demolition of an adjoining building in the world.

He directed the Lagos State Building Management Company (LASBCA) and the Lagos State Supplies Testing Laboratory to unravel the trigger of the incident.
